FLY OVER YOUR HOUSE
OK this is the coolest thing we have seen in a while. This company Keyhole, just acquired by Google takes satellite images and flies you from one address to another.

It is a 7 week trial download and then you have to pay. It's worth a trial. You can lose a day playing with it.

Feel like Superman... Zoom to street level.

PIC OF DEPP AS WILLY WONKA
The ever reputable, always accurate, London tabloid The Sun has the first picture of Johnny Depp as Willy Wonka. Rather than being a remake of the 1971 Gene Wilder film Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Burton's movie will reportedly be a more faithful adaptation of Dahl's novel.

The film is based on the book by Roald Dahl and scheduled to open, July 15, 2005.

ASHLEE SIMPSON'S SNL DISASTER
If anyone had a chance to watch this week's SNL Saturday night hosted by Jude Law with musical guest Ashlee Simpson, you would have seen a big no-no during Ashlee's second tune.

What should have been a star-enhancing performance, became a pop star's worst nightmare. Supposedly a mix-up in the sound room started feeding in lip-synched audio from 'Pieces Of Me' that she had already sang earlier in the live show.

LYNNE CHENEY'S PULP FICTION
Who knew the Second Lady wrote pulp fiction, titled Sisters...The novel of strong and beautiful women who broke all the rules of the American Frontier.

This is a joke, but it feels like the official site of the White House to see for yourself.

BOWLING FOR SOUP
Have you heard the latest single from Bowling For Soup? From their 7th album, A Hangover You Don't Deserve, the smash single that we are obsessed about is "1985". The single is #34 on Billboard's Hot 100 and #14 on the Top 40 Mainstream airplay chart.

Plus this Grammy-nominated group has recorded a remake (and video) of the Gilligan's Island theme song for TBS' new reality series, The Real Gilligan's Island, set to premiere on Nov. 30.

BLOOD IS THINNER THAN OIL...
...well that is what a new web site Bush relatives for Kerry says. These are second cousins of the president but it is unclear if they have ever met him.

THE NEW SUPERMAN
The new Superman has been cast for the fifth installment of the man of steel. The man who accurately created the X-man universe, director, Bryan Singer hand-picked the virtually unknown actor -- Brandon Routh.

Brandon Routh once was on the soap One Life to Live but otherwise a bunch of guest spots. His official site is down, because they couldn't handle all the hits.

Also confirmed to be involved with the film is That 70's Show, Topher Grace as Jimmy Olsen and The O.C.'s, Mischa Barton as Lois Lane.

Sometimes I find it helpful to read Blogs from people in Iraq, both with American and Iraqi perspectives. Here are a few that are interesting:

CAPTAIN KIRK Sings Again
William Shatner is a pop culture super hero. Radio loves the Shatner album - Has Been is #1 on the FMQB specialty radio album chart and "Common People" is #1 on the singles chart - these are charts measuring airplay on the new music shows nationwide. Believe it or not, the album is produced by Ben Folds (who is amazing) and has major guest appearances like Aimee Mann, Joe Jackson and Henry Rollins.

Listen to Has Been and tell us what you think.
