BO BICE ARRESTED
This is not a good week for American Idol. Last week Constantine Maroulis gets voted off (instead of lesser talents Scott Savol), then ABC News' PrimeTime Live is set to air an undercover investigation on Wednesday night about Fallen Idols, now we learn that our favorite contestant, Bo Bice was arrested for cocaine possesion....

CHINDOGU OR (UN)USELESSNESS
Chindogu is the Japanese art of the unuseless invention created by Kenji Kawakami.

Chindogu is an invention that may appear to solve an everyday problem but isn't quite worth using, because it actually makes a task harder or is simply ridiculous.

Here is an example of a chindogu invention:
Baby Mops - one-piece baby clothes that will mop the floor as they crawl around...

To learn more about chindogu and see some of the actual inventions, which are hysterical, visit Chindogu.com

VOTE FOR THE WORST
Not sure about you but we are still in a state of shock after last night's American Idol. The 'make googly eyes at the camera' Constantine Marvoulis, was booted from the show. Now other than this annoying pouty-face to-the-camera issue he is a good singer and performer.
And we are left with the question, why hasn't Scott Savol been voted off??? He is horrible and looks creepy.

Finally justice has been served. Check out VOTE FOR THE WORST AMERICAN IDOL.

THE FACE BOOK
With college students in the last few days before finals we have noticed a huge surge in on line searches for the facebook.com

The facebook is the insanely popular, online route to get the information of that cute classmate, network with other students, or stay in touch with graduating seniors, that is changing college life. Basically the site is able to create a virtual world on the physical map of the campus. This creates a sense of connection -- real or imagined, convenient and voyeuristic -- among the students.

THE POPE'S FAN CLUB
The man behind Ratzingerfanclub.com was inspired to create the site as a "satire to the reaction by some people who saw Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger as the Darth Vader of the Catholic Church", regardless the rest of the world now knows him as Pope Benedict XVI.

However since 2000 the new Pope has had an active fan club. In fact, following the news that Ratzinger was the new leader of the Catholic people, the site crashed following the thousands of visitors.

Check out Ratzinger Fan Club.com and decide for yourself...

NINE INCH NAILS
Last week once again Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails gave his fans a gift...a free song, and made it a GarageBand file to boot. The Hand That Feeds is an advance single for Nine Inch Nails' forthcoming album, With Teeth, which is due to be released on May 5th, 2005.

HEART GALLERIES
We, like so many others, were moved by a recent Parade Magazine story on the unique photo exhibit of foster children in need of permanent families.

The Heart Gallery, as each exhibit was called, had a goal to have professional photographers take portraits of older foster children who were available for adoption. Through the photographer's art, the unique spirit of each individual child was to shine through and capture the hearts of prospective parents.
