MOMMYCAST
Recently we posted an entry about stay-at-home dads Modern Day Day and wanted to give equal 'props'to the Moms. Check out MommyCast.com. MommyCast is a weekly internet radio show for and by women immersed in the fullness of motherhood and life, "holding the world together, one child at a time." They Mommies actually were at the premier of The March of the Penguins and thought it was the ultimate 'chick' flick.

SCIENTOLOGY & TOM CRUISE
A lot has been written about Tom Cruise and his preaching of Scientology. Lately everywhere you turn from the Today Show to Oprah - he is doing something a bit...odd. Therefore it was only a matter of time before something like this site showed up on our radar... Tom Cruise is nuts.com Thanks to the BIG B for this link...

Have you seen the latest site begging Lindsay Lohan to eat? Personally she is way to thin, watching her on SNL was excruciating. Feed Lindsay.com

CLASSIC TV THEME SONGS
They don't make them like they used to...and in this case we mean TV Show Theme Songs. It's easy to get lost in TV Theme music like Wonder Woman, Cheers, WKRP in Cincinnati and the list goes on. Classic TV Theme Show Music

RENT
The musical Rent is coming to a theater near you... Based on Puccini's classic opera La Boheme, Jonathan Larson's revolutionary rock opera Rent tells the story of a group of bohemians struggling to live and pay their rent in the gritty background of New York's East Village. "Measuring their lives in love," these starving artists strive for success and acceptance while enduring the obstacles of poverty, illness and the AIDS epidemic. Not only is it my favorite show on 'The Great White Way', but it is one of the longest running shows on Broadway, winner of the 1996 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, the Obie Award, the New York Drama Critics Circle Award, four Tony Awards and three Drama Desk awards. MODERN DAY DAD
One of our favorite parenting sites is from one of the coolest Stay-at-home Dads. His site: Modern Day Dad.com speaks to childrearing from a Dad's perspective. Plus the other day he had an awesome suggestion for kids music. See everyone gets tired of Barney/Mickey music, as kids tunes are usually pretty rough.. (This weekend alone my almost-3-year-old and my 1 1/2 year old were fighting over song choices - both of which were horrible...) Modern Day Dad.com

Happy Fourth of July Weekend If you are unable to make it to a firework spectacular (like us) we want to share our favorite virtual firework display. You can pick the location from the Grand Canyon to our hometown NYC and let the rockets go. You'll have a perfect view and won't have to brave the crowds on the busiest travel weekend of the year.
