JUDY BLUME
Today's column is about author Judy Blume. Just about everyone I speak to remembers reading one of her many books.

One of the most impressive thing about this 66-year-old grandmother, is that she still speaks to young people in a way that few others due.

A quick glance at her guest book shows you fans from all around the world and every age...

What is your earliest Judy Blume memory?

THE POWER OF CLAY AIKEN
There isn't a current artist with fans like Clay Aiken.

He has consistently been one of the top searches on Lycos ahead of Britney, Pam and even Paris.

This week he falls to number two only because of all the Hurricane trouble.

One of the more interesting fan sites is Clayton Aiken.com and you must check out Clay World with some of the wildest, most dedicated fans.

LITTLE NINJAI

This has to be one of the best animations I have ever seen. The story is awesome, although be aware a bit violent, and visually perfect. If you check out just a few minutes of this amazing flash animation you will be hooked. Totally worth your time...

ALL MALE MADONNA REVIEW
OK we kid you not, this is an all-male- live-review tribute to the one and only Madonna.

Calling themselves MANdonna, they say they are Madonna with "...chest hair...while hanging out with a glam lounge act."

If you do nothing else today, watch the Like a Virgin video.

This is the coolest way to see where zip codes are...the interactive map is so cool. And a great way to waste some time.

Ali G

Will the real Ali G please stand up.

Yup, they are all the same man Sacha Baron Cohen. He just wrapped up a second season of his hit HBO show -- The Ali G show. Each week you laugh out loud watching him interview famous people (who don't realize he is playing a goofy character...) and basically mocks them. One of our favorites was when he said that Saddam Hussein "was using BLTs on the Kurds" while interviewing a bewildered Patrick Buchanan. When he interviewed former EPA leader, Christine Todd Whitman he got her to concede that, yes, whale feces "have got to be massive".

Check him out on HBO or watch a few clips from the show.

BRITNEY MARRIES FOR 2nd TIME IN 9 MONTHS
You can only imagine the headlines...Oops She Did it Again, Will It Last Longer 55 hours?...etc.

Anyway Britney is now a step mom to Kevin Federline's two children, a 2-year-old and a newborn. One can only imagine the bliss this couple will have. We would expect this puts her back on the top of the Lycos 50 next week.

HUGE COLLEGE TREND
A trend dramatically sweeping across college campuses has generated two competing websites and one lawsuit.
The sites ConnectU.com and Thefacebook.com, have become college students primary tools to get someone's phone number, form a study group or get more info on a hot classmate. The rivalry between the college-networking sites has now extented to the courtroom.
The lawsuit is basically about who stole the idea from who. Regardless, now is the perfect time to check them out for your self and decide which one is best.

Thefacebook.com

DAILY DILEMMA: WHAT TO COOK FOR DINNER?
Don't think we know anyone that couldn't use a bit of help when it comes to new ideas for dinner. If I have hot dogs and beans one more night I'm gonna go crazy...but I digress.

The amount of diet menu searches we see every day in the logs is astronomical because we know people leverage the web to find innovative, delicious and healthy meals. Here is a great shortcut. The folks over at Hotbot created a really cool product. Try it out and tell me how many compliments you get on your new dish!

AND THE NEW JAMES BOND IS....
...Dougray Scott.
Hey Y'all, back from a great holiday - refreshed and relaxed...thanks for sticking with us.

Big entertainment news today is that British actor Dougray Scott will be the seventh actor to play Bond on the big screen for the 23rd Bond film, scheduled for release in late 2005. You might recognize him from his past lead film roles in Enigma, Mission Impossible 2 or Ever After.

Interesting fact about Scott was that he was originally picked to play Wolverine in the X-men movies but because of delays during Mission Impossible he wasn't able to take the role. The Wolverine role ultimately went to Australian actor Hugh Jackman. Jackman was also up for this Bond role in an interesting twist of fate.
