I am dismayed that you would recommend and link these sleazy, exploitive, worse- than-tabliod sites to what was once one of the premier search engines on the Internet. I guess I'm not surprised that you might do this, given that unsubstantiated comments or the repeating of some vague rumor included in one of them are picked up and magically turned into a fodder for "legitimate" media, but it makes me equally disappointed and angry.

Loving gossip does not mean having to play in the gutter among some of the most mean-spirited minds on the planet. Shame on you.

Lighten up. Some of the sites listed here at the most popular for serving up great celeb gossip. This isn't CNN...it's a fun blog to check out for what's hot & not. Incidentally, one of the sites listed - Perez Hilton -- gets a nice write-up in today's USA Today http://www.usatoday.com/life/people/2006-11-06-perez-hilton_x.htm. So as usual, the lycos 50 blog is on top of things!
