Believe it or not I interviewed Steve Sansweet years ago, before he went to work for Lucasfilm. Sansweet had one of the largest collections of Star Wars memorabilia we I met him. I can only imagine how large it is now.

THE MAN WHO WILL BE PRESIDENT
Did you see Barack Obama's Keynote speech at the Democratic convention? Someone described it as though he 'embraced the whole fleet center with his inspiring words.' Looks like Chicago's South Side senator is a once, and future king.

You can re-watch the speech on Barack Obama Blog

KEN JENNINGS
Everyone is talking about the latest champ on Jeopardy who has made over $1 million bucks.

Believe it or not, he taped these shows months ago, so we are amazed he, CBS, his friends etc, was able to keep quiet about it.

Is Ken Jennings Unbeatable?

BOB & TOM SHOW
One of the top syndicated morning radio shows is The Bob & Tom Show.

Unfortunately since we can't hear them in our neck of the woods -- ("hey Clear Channel!") -- we were not so familiar with this amazing duo. But Bob & Tom are huge fan favorites with our search audience. This week alone we noticed an enormous jump in their popularity.

Since we can't hear this dynamic duo, if any of our readers are fans, please feel free to EMAIL The Lycos 50 your tales of laughter from Bob and Tom.

THE JELLY BEAN CHALLENGE
This is a contest designed to prove that, under the right circumstances, collective intelligence (The Wisdom of Crowds) is greater than the individual intelligence, no matter how brilliant or informed the individual is.

A prize of $100 Amex Gift Certificate will go to the best individual guess, but according to The Wisdom of Crowds, the most accurate guess of all will be the average of all guesses made.
